The HC-E profile is an expansion joint, developed with a minimum use of steel, yet with excellent properties. The letter ‘E’ also represents Economic, Efficient and Evolution.
Before this expansion joint can be made commercial it is (just like our other joints) subjected to scientific testing in order to guarantee its functionality and performance capacity.
Compared to other discontinued profiles, this joint has a very rigid structure and a very efficient and specific anchorage system. Its limited weight and rigid structure makes this joint very quick to install, and if needed, it can be installed without welding activities on the site, cutting the costs considerably.
The reduced weight also translates into a more economical cost of shipping.
The HC-E expansion joint is available in several versions according to the needs and requirements of the client. The optimal version can be selected for functionality on your industrial floor.

The HC-E expansion joint is available with a double steel upper edge of 6 or 10 mm. This upper edge can also be provided in an electro-galvanised or stainless steel version.
The standard length is 3 metres. One could also opt for lengths of 2.1 or 2.6 metres for ease of container transport.
In extreme conditions, concrete expansion could be more intense than shrinkage and therefore this profile is available with 5 or 9 mm compressible foam.
